The making of Mayurika Hand Embroidered Blouse

Mayurika takes its name directly from Mayur, the Indian peacock, and the embroidery follows through on that reference rather than treating it loosely. Resham threadwork, ruby-red jaco beads, and fine beadwork are worked in premium semi dupion silk to capture the bird's mix of iridescence and structure rather than reducing it to a simple feather pattern.

A classic 8-inch round neckline sits at the front, while the back opens into a dramatic 12-inch deep cut — a contrast that gives the blouse presence from every angle. It's built to hold up through long festive days and celebratory nights alike.
